Use and maintenance
Before instaling the circuit breaker, check whether the technical parameters listed on the circuit breaker nameplate meet the op- eration requirements.
Various characteristics of circuit breakers (including various accessories) are adjusted by the manufacturer. Users should not ad- just them at will in use (except for adjustable parts).
Before the circuit breaker is delivered, the front cables of the circuit breaker board are attached with connecting plates,positioning parts, screws, washers and other accessories. The user should install the connecting plate before wiring, generally the bus and cable directly installed on the connecting plate, each specification circuit breaker installation should be located correctly, there should be no additional mechanical stress.
Wrap the inlet end of the circuit breaker with insulation material of 50mm(Inm ≤100A)or 100mm(Inm ≥250A),and install a phase spacing arc plate.
See Table 16 and Table 17 for the recommended cross-sectional area of connecting wires and the corresponding rated curent
The handle of the circuit breaker can be in three positions: closed, open, and free trip. When the handle is in the free trip posi- tion, if you want to close it, you should hand the handle to the disconnecting direction plate to make the circuit breaker buckle again, then you can close it.(Note: When the circuit breaker is installed verically,if the mechanism is in the free trip state, the shaft line of the handle should be about 5° to 15° above the horizontal.
Any of the contact handles of the circuit breaker that are not broken will not be transfered to the free trip position.
After the circuit breaker is newly installed and operated for a period of time (usually one month), press the (red)“Trip” button in the closing state to check the trip function.
(Note: This button can be used for emergency trip trip in case of abnormal operation of handle.)
